Shoot & Share Awards
EXTRA MEGA Excited!!! Celebrating and in total shock
Some of my images made to the TOP 10%, Top 20% and Top 30%, in Shoot and Share 2019, one of the best photo-contest ever for photographers.
A contest where 1.1 MILLION PHOTOS were submitted (The number of entries blows my mind), over 85 million votes were casted... the competition was fierce, but OMG! can't believe I placed top 10%, among my piers, that's like winning to me.
I submitted some images super last minute, and really did it just to get the Badge of Courage award for having the courage to submit to one of the biggest photography contest in the world. I didn't think my images were gonna placed, not because they are not good but because literally the best photographers in the world participate here, so with all the work, weddings, editing and the Top 10 photo-video Convention I had the privilege to be a part of, I didn't check back on my account, now today when I logged in to the contest site and click on results I find that some of my images got top 10%, top 20% and top 30%. YAYYY!! it really feels like winning the whole thing. Of the images I submitted, 5 got awards, and now I'm regretting forgetting about images that now I think I should have submitted, well next year for sure.
Still, as I type this, I cannot believe it. I am seriously humbled, and very surprised and excited with the outcome.
So, before you read any further, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to all that voted and thank you to all that let me know they saw my images. This was quite the experience and I couldn't be more proud.
If you entered, I want to say congratulations to you. Regardless of your results, it's hard to put your images out there for the world to see and to be judged. I was terrified and I'm sure you were too, so here's to being vulnerable, brave, scared, and every emotion in between.
High-fives to us!
Here you can see the images that made to the Top 10%, Top 20% and Top 30%.
